Kiwanis Club of Greater Whittier, California

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Whittier is composed of men and women who seek to give something back to their community and make it a better place to live. Our activities and projects include:

Community Service Projects

  • Sponsoring a Key Club at California High School
  • Sponsoring a Circle K Club at Whittier College
  • BUG (Bring Up Grades) at Lydia Jackson Elementary School
  • Halloween Pancake Breakfast for Seniors
  • Christmas Shopping Spree and Gift bags for mothers of the Foley House (recovery Home)
  • Christmas feeding of “The Whole Children Foundation” learning center for special students
  • St Patrick’s Pancake Breakfast for Seniors
  • Rewards breakfast for Police and Fire Department
  • City Library Breakfast for gifted readers in Summer months
  • “Ways” Breakfast for Soccer League opening day
  • Maddie’s Closet 3K, 5K Dash joint effort with La Mirada, a fundraiser for children that died from Cancer.
  • Yard Clean up at Foley’s house
  • Eggstravaganza (Easter Egg Hunt)
  • Police Station Open House providing snacks for public.
